This page describes Shelter E-Commerce (shelterecommerce.com) and the HeatBinder app. The legal name of the person who operates it is Raymond Wren. Contact ray@shelterecommerce.com.
What the website does
The site is a set of static pages. Version 1 does not use accounts, advertising, or analytics. The pages do not call out to other companies to load fonts, trackers, or error reports.
What HeatBinder stores
Dog names, breeds, dates, notes, photos, progesterone numbers, and breeding notes are saved in this browser (IndexedDB) on your device. Shelter E-Commerce does not receive that information. There is no HeatBinder account in version 1.
A backup file is created on your device when you download one. If you email that file to someone, that happens in your email program, outside HeatBinder.
If you email ray@shelterecommerce.com, we see what you send, and we use it to reply. The domain uses email forwarding. We do not add you to a mailing list from a visit to the site.
Hosting logs
The host that serves the static files (for example Cloudflare) may keep ordinary connection logs, such as an IP address and the page requested. We do not add a separate analytics tool on top of that.
Children
HeatBinder is for adult dog owners and breeders. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. The template note stays until a lawyer has reviewed the text and you remove it.
